All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. May peace and blessings be upon the noblest of creation and the messengers, our master Muhammad—the Arab, unlettered, trustworthy Prophet—upon his father our master Abraham, upon his two brothers our masters Moses and Jesus, upon all of their families and companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment. To proceed:

This website contains a selection of valuable and rare books that some brothers have shared on the internet through forums and Islamic websites, in addition to books from our modest library. The aim of the site is to spread benefit for students of knowledge across the world, far removed from any commercial or material purpose. We seek no compensation for it—this is the least we can offer in service to the religion of Allah.

We have relied on the well-known fatwa of Shaykh Ibn Bāz (may Allah have mercy on him) regarding intellectual property rights of books and the permissibility of benefiting from them through copying without commercial profit. For this reason, we have encrypted most of the books and disabled the printing feature.

Dear Muslim brother, you are permitted to benefit from the site’s contents for personal, non-commercial use, or to نقل them to other websites, provided that you kindly reference our site when doing so. We also appeal to the authors, editors, publishers, and the administrators of websites and forums from whom we have taken these materials to appreciate our da‘wah objectives. They will be partners with us in reward if they approve of what we are doing, for we seek nothing by this except the pleasure of Allah.

The books and booklets on the library website do not necessarily represent the viewpoint of the site; rather, they express the views of their respective authors. Based on the principle that everyone’s statements may be accepted or rejected except for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, we disavow any statement in any of these books that contradicts the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamā‘ah.

We extend our gratitude to the authors, editors, publishing houses, and websites and forums—may Allah reward them generously—for publishing these materials that serve the Islamic sciences. We clarify that the purpose of presenting books and booklets here is to make them available to those who cannot obtain the printed editions and to bring them closer to students of knowledge everywhere. The availability of electronic versions does not replace purchasing the original printed books, which remain the primary resource for students of knowledge, nor does it negate the importance of supporting publishers.

We have committed ourselves to not publishing any book on the site until two years have passed since the release of its first edition—the customary period for marketing books—in order to avoid harming the author or publisher. We invite any author who objects to the publication of his book to contact us and inform us of his wish to have it removed, and we will remove it immediately. The author’s interest matters to us, and we ask Allah to replace us with something better than his book. We also note that, in the event of removal, we control only our own site and are not responsible for the book’s availability on other websites from which we obtained it.

Please do not forget us in your sincere supplications in absence. And our final supplication is: all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
